SASSA will be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed regarding the superior quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The company stage produced for intervention activities a high sassa status check influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more sources to allow the servicing of all shoppers and raise access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
